Pinewood Derby
START YOUR ENGINES!
PINEWOOD DERBY time is approaching (March 14) and it’s time to think about making that special car! CONCORD’S Derby is open to GIRLS & BOYS of all ages. ALL participants receive a trophy. The men’s class does a GREAT job helping with this event each year in many ways, including help with cars, “official” weigh-in of cars, providing lunch and helping with set-up and clean-up. They “rock”, and make this event a success!!! Information/rules, registration, car kits to purchase ($6 EACH), etc. are available in the children’s hallway. New this year: a class @ CONCORD, Sat., Feb. 20, from 9:00 AM – noon, to show you and your child how to make a derby car. Weigh-in will be Sat., March 13, 9:00 AM-Noon.
